Born and raised in Charleston, Summer is a true Lowcountry girl who somehow manages to juggle open-water swimming, chasing after her sweet bonus daughter, keeping her two cats out of trouble, and never saying no to queso. She joined JSLB to connect with like-minded women and ended up finding lifelong friends. When she’s not volunteering, you can usually find her planning her next beach day, laughing way too loudly, or convincing everyone that queso counts as a food group.

Leah El-Sergani, originally from Massachusetts, is a biotech finance leader who has called Beaufort home since 2023. She brings financial storytelling and global perspective from her career, and enjoys traveling with her husband and giving back to the community.

Jenn Ball, a proud Beaufort native, has been happily married to RJ for 15 years and together they’re raising four wonderful children. When she’s not running her small business, she’s running the trails, riding her Harley, diving into a good book, or exploring new places. Jenn’s greatest joy is being her kids’ biggest fan—whether it’s basketball, softball, golf, or cross country, you’ll always find her cheering them on with a full heart.

Brianna is a Beaufort native who joined JSLB in 2020 to give back to and reconnect with her community after returning to the area. She received her Bachelor of Science from the University of South Carolina and her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from Brenau University. In her free time, Bri enjoys reading, traveling, and spending time on the boat with family.

Jessica is a South Carolina native who grew up in Sumter, SC but vacationed in Beaufort every summer with her family. She graduated from the University of South Carolina with her Bachelor’s in Exercise Science with an emphasis in Health Fitness and a minor in Psychology. Jessica then went on to become a Doctor of Physical Therapy at A.T. Still University in Arizona. She loves what she does and enjoys helping others achieve their health and fitness goals! She loves this community and wants to give back as much as possible!
